All SPAC Arts in Education & Community programs are free to students and are made possible through generous members of the Capital Region community who see the value of arts engagement.

Studies show that engagement with the arts—particularly music, dance, and drama— encourage confidence and the ability to find joy in self-expression and in the world.

Sustained exposure to the arts as a child instills an appreciation for beauty, community, and connection that translates to more compassionate adults who strive to make the world a better place.

SPAC classes are taught by teaching artists who challenge students to connect with others, learn new perspectives, and discover passion, confidence, and a deeper sense of self.
